The Creative Sector Summit is an annual statewide convening presented by and for the Massachusetts creative sector to increase cultural policy leadership, and coalition-building towards a more inclusive and equitable creative sector for all residents. The convening will feature insightful conversations and workshops to strengthen the impact of the creative and cultural sector across the Commonwealth.

The inaugural conference was held on May 17, 2024 in Lowell. We were proud to welcome Lt. Gov. Kim Driscoll, State Rep. Vanna Howard, and Quanice G. Floyd as featured speakers at the first convening.

The 2025 Creative Sector Summit theme is Meeting the Moment: Creative Advocacy and Cultural Organizing for Stronger Communities.

If you are a member of the arts and cultural community and ready to work across regions, issues, and sectors to build stronger coalitions, solidarity, and political power, this Summit is for you!

We welcome artists, creatives, cultural organizations, creative small business owners, civic and community leaders and arts and cultural supporters.

The 2025 Creative Sector Summit will be held at the Northampton Center for the Arts located at 33 Hawley Street, Northampton, MA 01060.

The Summit is scheduled to take place between 10 AM to 5 PM.

Breakfast and registration will take place between 10 - 11 AM.

Welcoming remarks from State Representative Lindsay Sabadosa and Northampton Mayor Gina-Louise Sciarra will begin at 11 AM.

Workshops and sessions will take place between 11:45 AM and 4 PM, with a break for lunch at 12:30 PM.

The Summit will conclude with a keynote address.
