A CALL FOR ART: BUILDING SOLIDARITY ACROSS STATES BETWEEN CREATIVES, SECTOR LEADERS, AND ADVOCATES

There’s no ignoring that nationally, we’re experiencing a period of turmoil and uncertainty. As arts advocates, practitioners, and leaders, many of us find ourselves asking what roles we play in supporting our communities right now. How can arts nonprofits and businesses show up? How are creatives disseminating information and resources? What information do communications staff at cultural organizations need to share with their audiences?

Join state arts advocacy organizations Arts Alliance Illinois, California for the Arts, Cultural Alliance of Maine, MASSCreative, and Minnesota Citizens for the Arts for a virtual huddle on Wednesday, February 25th from 7 - 8:00 pm EST.

We’ll hear from arts leaders in different states about how they’re meeting this moment and exchange resources and ideas to build stronger solidarity across the nation’s arts ecosystem. We will have time for breakout rooms to discuss these topics in greater detail.

Please register in advance for the meeting link.
