Support Investment in the Commonwealth’s Creative Community

Dear Governor Patrick,

I share your love and appreciation of Massachusetts’ diverse, robust, and inspiring creative community and the value arts and culture bring to Massachusetts. Thank you for signing last year’s budget that increased support for the creative community by 17%, and for tripling the state’s investment in maintaining and rebuilding the Commonwealth’s cultural facilities.

Please support MASSCreative’s request to restore the Commonwealth’s investment in the day-to-day operations of the creative community by increasing the Massachusetts Cultural Council’s FY2015 budget by $5 million.

These funds are critical to the creative community’s ability to provide the resources and support needed to build more connected communities and a vibrant, thriving economy across the Commonwealth.
