Jacintha Fontellio, Bloomberg Arts Intern Jacintha is a rising junior at Josiah Quincy Upper High School where she'll become an International Baccalaureate (IB) student this upcoming fall. This summer Jacintha has been interning at the MASSCreative worksite through the Bloomberg Arts Internship (BAI) Program. In doing so, she and another intern will be focusing on organizing the "Create the Vote" Campaign to encourage voter registration and engage youth voters. During her 8th grade year, Jacintha joined the Advisory Student Council (ASC) Club at her school. From then until now she has learned how to organize school and afterschool events, take inventory, and plan for the year ahead. She is on the "Snowden Cougars" volleyball team which has taught her how to communicate strategies, practice team building, and learn that a team will not succeed if the teammates are against one another. She is known for being strongly opinionated, honest, and having a caring attitude towards others. She is a visual artist who is very passionate about art and it's impact on the world. For those who know Jacintha, they know that she is overly detailed when it comes to her art projects. In the near future, her goal is to become an Interior Designer. She wants to make people's dreams come true and bring out the inner artist within them starting with the inside of their home. Hopefully MASSCreative is one of her many steps on the way to accomplishing this goal. |
