MASSCreative's Arts Advocacy Interns - Summer 2017
Four talented and energetic interns are working with MASSCreative staff this summer. We are already looking for interns for the Fall Semester. Spread the word.
Gustavo Barceloni just graduated from MassArt and majored in Ceramics. He is working with our Senior Campaign Organizer, Tracie Konopinski, on the Create the Vote campaign and coordinating Summer Art Events. Fun fact: Gustavo recently helped paint the basketball court mural at Harambee Playground in Dorchester.
Emily Friedlander just graduated from Tufts University and majored in International Relations with minors in Women's Studies and Studio Art. She is working with our Political Director, Andre Green, on policy research and engagement on the legislative level. Fun fact: Emily owns a handmade confetti filled fanny pack that she wears constantly.
Stephanie Houten is a student at MassArt and majors in Media Art. She is working with our Digital Organizer & Operations Manager, Merissa Magdael-Lauron, on Social Media Campaigns, and coordinating Summer Art Events. Fun fact: Stephanie DJ’s on the weekends.
Leyla Tonak is a student at Boston University and majors in Painting with a minor in Arts Leadership. She is working with our Senior Campaign Organizer, Tracie Konopinski, on Create the Vote and campaign planning. Fun fact: Leyla is from Nova Scotia and has a one-eared cat named Bruiser.
