Help Build a Vibrant MA: Join MASSCreative

The end of the year is always a great time for reflection. While 2016 certainly showed us that we have a deeply divided country, it also reminded us that arts, culture, and creativity can shape and strengthen the future of our cities and towns.

As we reflect on 2016 and look to 2017, please consider supporting MASSCreative with a personal contribution of $25, $50, $100 or more.

In 2016, with your action and support, MASSCreative helped build a more healthy, vibrant, and connected Massachusetts by:

  • Securing bipartisan support in the state legislature to override a 55% cut to state arts funding.
  • Encouraging Democratic and Republican candidates to talk about arts and culture in local statewide elections.
  • Strengthening our network of trained and passionate advocates through 12 regional gatherings with more than 300 attendees.
  • Encouraging the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education to include arts education in the state’s accountability plan for what makes a successful school.

Our successes are tied directly to the engagement of the arts and cultural community, and would not be possible without the financial and political support of arts and cultural leaders, supporters, and partners like you.

Thanks to the support of our members, we’re able to provide the creative community with important policy updates and simple advocacy tools to engage in arts advocacy.

Whether it’s $25 or $100, please make a contribution to MASSCreative to help us build a more vibrant MA.
