Voting Details for the Nov 8 General Election

Register or verify your voter registration

You must be registered to vote on or before Saturday, October 29, 2022 in order to vote in the November 8 General Election. Register online, in person, or by mail. If you’re already registered, verify your registration or if you’ve moved, update your registration with your new address.

Voter Registration Deadline: Sat October 29, 2022
Vote by Mail Application Deadline: Tues November 1, 2022
Early Voting: Sat October 22 - Fri November 4
Election Day: Tues Nov 8, 7am – 8pm


Ways to vote

You can cast your vote by:

  • Vote-by-mail
  • Early Voting
  • In person voting on Election Day

Voting Details: Vote-by-Mail

1. Send your vote-by-mail application by 5pm Tues Nov 1.
2. Fill out your ballot and sign your ballot envelope.
3. Return your ballot one of 4 ways:

4. Track your ballot to ensure it was received and accepted. Your ballot must arrive at your election office on or before 8pm Tuesday November 8 to be counted.

Early voting dates: Saturday, October 22 - Friday, November 4

Every community offers early voting for a minimum number of hours, including weekend hours. Each city and town chooses their own early voting locations and schedule.

Election Day: Tuesday November 8, 2022
Polling hours: 7am-8pm

If you’re in line by 8pm, you must be allowed to vote.
