The 2022 Candidate Forum and Celebration of the Arts will feature a moderated conversation with candidates running for Lieutenant Governor and an exhibit of art and creativity across disciplines. Join the coalition, candidates and the creative community as we imagine a future where everyone in the Commonwealth can access the benefits of creative expression and cultural participation.

 

Evening Program
7:00 pm, Doors open
7:00 - 7:30 pm, View exhibition on display, meet and mingle
7:35 - 7:45 pm, Performance, welcomes and guest speakers
7:45 - 8:45 pm, Lieutenant Governor candidate forum
8:45 - 8:55 pm, Performances
8:55 - 9:00 pm, Closing remarks
9:00 - 9:30 pm, Mingle

 

This event is free and open to the public, however capacity is limited, so please RSVP to reserve your spot.

 

All candidates running for Lieutenant Governor were invited to participate in this forum.

Parking Information
Street parking is available, as well as several nearby parking garages including the Worcester Common Garage (3 Eaton Place) and the Worcester Plaza Garage (40 Pleasant Street).

 

Public Transportation
The Jean McDonough Arts Center is about a 10-minute walk from the Worcester stop on the Framingham/Worcester line on the Commuter Rail. 

 

Partner Information
The PopUP and The BrickBox  are programs of the Worcester Cultural Coalition, A public-private partnership established in 1999 between the City of Worcester and cultural organizations. The coalition's mission is to draw on Worcester's rich and diverse cultural assets to foster economic revitalization, support active creative engagement for all, and promote a strong cultural identity for Greater Worcester.

The Worcester PopUp at the JMAC is a creative co-working space of the Worcester Cultural Coalition and in partnership with The Barr Foundation. This event does not necessarily reflect the views of either organization.
