Create the Vote 2020 Pledge


The Create the Vote 2020 Steering Committee invites you to take individual action as artists, creatives, culture workers, and arts administrators. Additionally, we invite you to use your creativity and the platforms within your networks and organizations to take collective action.

Pledge language for Individuals:

I’m a creative, my work makes my community strong, and I vote. I pledge to #CreateTheVote to increase civic engagement and strengthen our democracy.

I pledge to use my creativity and my voice to:

  • Increase voter participation in the 2020 elections
  • Engage my networks through nonpartisan voter education, registration, and turnout

Pledge language for Organizations:

As an arts and culture organization, we work to make our community strong and more connected. We pledge to #CreateTheVote to increase civic engagement and strengthen democracy. 

We pledge to use our organization’s creativity and platforms to: 

  • Increase voter participation in the 2020 elections
  • Engage my networks through nonpartisan voter education, registration, and turnout
