Engage the Candidates

Want the candidates to talk about arts and cultural issues? Ask them! Candidates want to talk about issues that voters care about. Show the candidates that voters care about arts and cultural issues by asking them about their experience and vision. 

You can email your questions, tweet at the candidates, or pose questions on their Facebook pages. And if you meet them at an event or see them in town, ask them in person!

Sample questions to ask in person:

What are your priority issues? What role can the creative community play in addressing these challenges?

What will you do to champion arts education for our youth both in our schools and in our community?

How would you grow the arts budget for the city?
