As our state and local governments discuss how to reopen our local economies, we need to advocate for artists & arts and cultural leaders be invited to the table. Just as Gov. Baker appointed a Reopening Advisory Board to guide the Commonwealth's reopening strategy, local governments are doing the same. We need to get ahead of the appointments of these local Reopening Task Forces by making the case that the creative and cultural sector is a necessary component to bringing our economy back on line and that we're willing and able to offer our talents and expertise.
