During our 5/1 Policy and Action Update Webinar, participants asked questions regarding funding and CARES Act support programs:

Q: I have questions about the Paycheck Protection Program and the Economic Injury Disaster Loans where can I get more information about these programs? 

A: On MASSCreative’s COVID-19 website we have linked to helpful resources navigating the Paycheck Protection Program and the Economic Injury Disaster Loans program. 


Q: Are there any new sources of public or private funds announced for which we might apply?

A: Check out our list of public and private funds available for artists, cultural workers, arts organizations and cultural spaces. Last week Mass Humanities announced its CARES Act grant program. Grant awards will range in amount from $2,500 to $10,000. Eligible organizations will be evaluated on audiences served, budget size, the centrality of the humanities to their mission, and financial losses incurred by COVID-19. Priority will be given to geographic diversity and organizations with annual budgets of less than $300,000.
