Millions of people ride the MBTA everyday in Boston. With walls regularly plastered in ads, there’s a marked lack of art in our daily commutes. Our friends at Mass Poetry are looking to change that.
In April, Mass Poetry launched an exciting new campaign to bring “PoeTry on the MBTA.”
The success of the pilot of “Poetry on the T” has spurred an extended campaign to bring poems to the T all summer. But Mass Poetry can’t do it without your support. Today there are less than two weeks left in the campaign to keep Poetry on the T, and still over $3,000 left to raise. To support this program and place poems in ad space, you can visit the Indiegogo page.
