2018 Arts Advocacy Gatherings

We all know that connection matters. For the creative community, it is one of our greatest strengths – the ability to bring people together to share creative experiences and connect with friends, family, and neighbors.

This spring and summer, MASSCreative is embracing our great strength as a connector by hosting a series of public gatherings to elevate the role arts and culture play in communities across the Commonwealth.

On May 21, our staff will be in Boston and Lynn, where we’ll be bringing together friends, colleagues, and neighbors for a discussion with our state legislators and local elected officials about the role arts, culture, and creativity play in building community.

Help us elevate arts and culture as a recognized, valued, and expected part of everyday life with our local and state elected officials.

RSVP to join us on May 21 at 10AM at RAW Art Works in Lynn.

RSVP to join us on May 21 at 1PM at MassArt in Boston.

These meetings will give residents and local elected officials an opportunity to discuss the strengths and challenges facing our communities and the role arts and culture can play in addressing the needs of our cities and towns.
