Mayoral Candidate Forum on Arts, Culture, and Creativity

9 of the Boston mayoral candidates addressed a full house of 600 supporters of the arts, discussing arts issues and expressing their visions for the city's creative sector. See above for a full video recording of the event.

We were sorry to have to turn away so many of you at the show, and appreciate the effort you all took in coming out to support the creative community.

As the Boston Mayoral campaign prompts a citywide discussion of Boston’s priorities and needs, the arts, culture, and creative community has elevated the issues of our sector and their fundamental importance to the city’s overall quality of life. On September 24th, the primary election will provide an opportunity for arts voters to act on the momentum of the night of the arts forum.
